- 2 bananas
- 9 - 12 strawberries
- 4 pineapple rings
- 2 heaped tablespoons coconut oil
- 1-2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon honey, natvia, sugar or other sweetening agent
- In a firesafe bowl, add the coconut oil, cacao powder, and sweetener
- Stir until all the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is well blended
- Remove from the heat and set aside to thicken
- Slice the bananas and pineapple rings into bite sized chunks.
- Thread onto skewers, alternating with the strawberries
- Grill on the barbecue for two minutes, then turn and grill for another two minutes.
- (The strawberries will soften quickly, so lift them off gently)
- Drizzle the sauce over the grilled fruit, add cream or ice cream if you wish and enjoy!
